Online Bharatanatyam Classes Worldwide

Indian families in the USA, UK, UAE, Germany, Australia and beyond learn Bharatanatyam with us live from India, the same classically trained guru and the same graded curriculum as our HSR Layout studio, at a time that fits your zone.

A guru in India, not a recording

Live video classes with a classically trained teacher who watches and corrects you every week. Nothing here is pre-recorded.

One honest timetable

Wednesday and Friday, 5 to 6 PM and 6 to 7 PM IST, plus a 90-minute Sunday class at 3 to 4:30 PM IST. Every country page converts those into your local clock, and says plainly where a dedicated slot is the better answer.

The full tradition

Adavus, mudras, tala, abhinaya, margam, and Sanskrit shlokas alongside, which for children growing up abroad is often what parents want most.

Online Bharatanatyam Classes Abroad, FAQs

Which countries do you teach Bharatanatyam online in?

We teach live online Bharatanatyam classes to Indian families in USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland, France, UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, and we are happy to work out a slot for any other country. Each country has its own page with the exact timings that suit that time zone.

What is the class timetable, and how do the time zones work?

Classes run Wednesday and Friday, 5:00 to 6:00 PM and 6:00 to 7:00 PM IST, plus a longer 90-minute Sunday class from 3:00 to 4:30 PM IST. The Gulf sits 1.5 to 2.5 hours behind India, so those batches land straight after school in Dubai, Doha or Riyadh. Europe is 3.5 to 4.5 hours behind, putting them in the afternoon. Singapore, Malaysia and Perth are ahead of India, so they fall in the evening. For North America, the east-coast Americas take a morning batch, while the US West Coast, eastern Australia and New Zealand get a dedicated slot arranged with us, because the standard batches fall at an unreasonable local hour there. Each country page shows the exact conversion.

Are online classes really as good as attending a studio?

For technique correction, theory, abhinaya and steady graded progress, live online classes work very well, the guru watches you on screen and corrects you in real time, and batches are kept small. What online cannot replicate is dancing in a room with other students; for families with no classically trained teacher nearby, that trade is well worth making.

Do you teach children born and raised outside India?

Yes, most of our overseas students are. We teach the dance alongside the language and the stories behind it: the names of the adavus, the meaning of the sahitya, the mythology in each piece. For children growing up abroad, the class is often where that context lives.

How are fees paid from outside India?

Fees are quoted in your local currency and settled monthly, by international bank transfer, Wise, or UPI through a relative in India, whichever is simplest. There is no joining fee and no annual contract. WhatsApp +91 96116 21086 for the current fee for your child's age and level.

Can we try a class before enrolling?

Yes. Every overseas family starts with a free trial class at a time that suits their zone. You meet the guru, we check your camera and space, and you decide afterwards. No payment before the trial.

Do you offer Sanskrit shlokas online too?

Yes. Our shlokas and devotional recitation programme runs online alongside the dance classes, and a large share of our overseas families take both together.
